Thank you so much for all of the thoughtful presents! Malcolm and Isaac love their T-shirts and especially enjoy the paper balls and the wooden stacking toy. The girls were amazed at their kimonos. The beautiful covered dish is now displayed in the family hutch along with my other treasures. My parents and my husband love the sushi magnets.
Today, if the weather improves, we plan to go biking and blueberry picking. Nonoko is a joy. She tries everything with a good and friendly attitude. We've attached a few pictures from our first day together.
Thank you again!
Adrienne

We've had a wonderful, busy week! We went blueberry picking, cooked together, visited our farm, swam at Goss Park pond and in the ocean, and spent a day at Canobie Lake Park, New Hampshire's oldest amusement park.
Nonoko makes every effort to practice her English. She eats well and tries everything. The children love to listen to her play piano, and they are amazed that she can ride a unicycle! She is so much fun!
Today, Bruce took the children on a 10 mile bike ride. Nonoko, Devon and Sabra are upstairs now decorating with the Decori stones.
Warmly,
Adrienne

Again, we've had a very busy week! My nephew and niece, Zoe and Ian, spent the week with us and joined in our activities. We baked bread and chocolate chip cookies together. We went swimming at Goss Park and visited Squam Lake Science Center in Holderness, NH. We took a boat ride on Big Squam Lake and managed to see some Loons!
Nonoko continues to do very well. We've had many friends coming to visit this past week. Nonoko met my very dear friend from high school and her father and children. Our good friends from Belgium with their two sons have been staying with us the past two days! The children have been playing well together, and we are all learning more Japanese and French!
Warmly,
Adrienne

We've just come back from dropping off Nonoko at the college. We miss
her so much already!
This past week Nonoko cooked dinner for us. That was such a treat for
me! On another day, we helped her make three different kinds of onigiri.
We liked it so much that we're going to make it again soon.
We made tie-dye twice these past four days. Nonoko dyed some beautiful
bandanas and T-shirts that she's bringing home.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful daughter with us! We hope she's
enjoyed herself as much as we have.
Take care,
Adrienne
