 受け入れのローレンス君の誕生日と日記 |

きょうは、 ローレンス君の誕生日。明日は、娘の誕生日ということで合同の誕生日会をやりました。
中学生5人とノーラ、ローレンスの7人で、不思議の国のアリスを動きました。
いきなり、いもむしをローレンスにやらせるのは気の毒でない？という声があがり、彼はナレーションの担当。
ノーラはアリスになりました。こういうことをやった経験は、あまりないと思うのに、二人とも上手でした。
そして、If I ｈａｄ a ｈａｍｍｅｒの振り付けを、娘が教えて、全員で踊りました。みんな笑顔で楽しかった！あの振り付けは、いろいろな人とペアになれるし、曲の内容もいいし、すごく盛り上がりました。
ローレンス君は、日本食にもなじみ、ホストファザーにも、すごく愛されて
いいステイをしています。いいホームステイをさせていただいてありがとうございますという気持ちで、わたしもいっぱいです。
ホストファザーの「彼だからですよ！」という誉め言葉が印象的。
I find my daily life here comfortable and interesting．
My typical rutine is as follows：
Ｉ wake up at 6:00 AM and dine with my host father
to a full breakfast consisting of miso soup，yougert，
natto rise and fish．
After this，Ｉ am usually so full that Ｉ take ａ rest and prepare for my departure and the day ahead．
Ｉ leave the home around ９：００ＡＭ and walk ａ few
blocks to the Chofu train station where Ｉ scramble
to find the best train ｔｏ get to Shinjuku station．
Ｏｎ the train Ｉ like to observe the other passengers around me without making eye contact.
The trains here are so quiet inside!
I'd like to talk to everyone but I fear they would ignore me,
even if they were interested in talking to me slso.
Once I reach Shinjyuku station, it isn't difficult to get to
my class in the West Shinjyuku-mitsui building.
So far the calsses haven't been difficult,but I learn new
things there every day. Class ends at 3:30,and I usually return
directly home.
At home I alternatingly play with Shunsuke-kunand Yui-chan, read, eat, talk with my host parents,and wonder
around outside the home.
----My only deseire is to make friends with some Japanese
teenagers my own age.
Once I figer out how to do this,I'll be set!
