 FLAIR ＜パットからのメール＞ |

パット・イングリッシュからメールが来ました。全米カナダコーディネイター研修に出かける直前の忙しいときに、送ってくれたようです。以下はその内容です。
I think it is wonderful that Labo is able to use you as an "expert" for the exchange program. You have so much
"hands-on" experience to give to other tutors and students. Hooray!!
Yes you can use flare but I would like you to change it to flair.
F - for flexible
L - for language
A - for adventuresome
I - for independent
R - for responsible
Use independent (instead of "e" for experienced) to express the concept of a student that has experience traveling a
bit, staying overnight away from home and is independent and confident enough to enjoy the exchange.
The word FLAIR means have a knack for something so you do it easily or with style.
Let me know if you need any other help. I have a thank you gift coming to you. Hopefully it won't take too long. I
so much appreciate your dedication to me while I was with you in Japan. Thank you friend.

フレアーというのは、パットが中部の一日広場でプレゼンテーションを行った際に、「理想的なラボっ子はフレアーがある」として、ホームステイにおける準備活動を語ってくださいました。
今回、パットともう少し話し合い、フレアーについて中部で説明したFLARE をFLAIRに変えるようにしました。
事前活動でも活用していきたいと思います。
