 Is being a labo tutor "sustainable"? |

Today I visited one of ex-labo tutors to give her a thank-you letter.
今日、元テューターのお宅にお礼状を持って行った。
She happened to be at home and we had a chat over a cup of coffee.
たまたま、いらっしゃって、コーヒーを飲みながら、少しおしゃべりをした。
She said she wanted to come to our 15th annivcersary, but her husband would have still been upset if she had mentioned "Labo."
１５周年に来たかったけれど、ご主人が今だに「ラボ」のことを口にするのを好まれないとか・・・。
Is being a labo tutor "sustainable"?
ラボテューターという仕事は、「継続」可能だろうか。
Yes! Many tutors continue the job.
もちろん！多くのテューターがそれを証明している。
But there are even more ex-tutors who loved this job.
でも、この仕事が大好きだった元テューターは、もっとたくさんいる。
Why is it so difficult for us to keep on being a labo tutor?
どうして、ラボテューターをを続けるのは難しいのだろう？
One definite condition to be one is to have super extra
understanding family.
一つ条件があるとすれば、それは、”超”理解のある家族の存在かな。
It often occurs that when my famliy get home, it's time for me to leave.
「家族が帰宅する時間は、私が家を出る時間」というのは、よくあること。
I say "Hi" and "Bye" at the same time.
「おかえり」と「行ってきます」を同時に言う。
On Sundays I go out for labo homestay preparations once a month and sometimes to attend high school students activities while they stay home and relax.
日曜には、家のみんながくつろいでいる時に、月一回の事前活動やら、たまには中高生活動。
If this continues・・・
これが続くと・・・
The best way to avoid the situation is to have many labo tutors to share the work.
これを避けるために最良の方法は、ラボテューターを増やして、仕事を分担すること。
For labo kids who love labo activities, I really wish we have many new tutors here in Kumamoto.
ラボを愛してやまないラボっ子達のためにも、熊本にもっともっと新人テューターが増えないかな・・・。
