I really wish I could join "Labo university students activities"!
私も、"大学生活動"に参加できたらな～！！
Last Saturday in Hakata, Fukuoka, I had a chance to see "Osshoi Tonkotsu Hiroba" which was organized and performed by university students in Kyushu.
先週の土曜日、福岡の博多で、九州大学生活動参加者による企画、発表の「おっしょいとんこつ広場」を見に行くことができた。
While I was watching the presentation, I began to sigh.
見ているうちに、ため息が出てきた。
"Oh, how I wish I could I could join them!"
「あー、私もやりたい！」
How lucky they are to be able to try those activities, to get friends who could talk things out with, to share their feelings, to discuss till they reach consensus, and to produce new program for Labo kids!
なんて幸せなんだろう！！様々な活動に参加でき、議論を戦わせる仲間、気持ちを共有できる仲間がいる。プログラムを練り上げて、ラボっ子のために新しい企画をつくることも出来る。
Do you know how fortunate you are?
君たちは、自分たちがどれだけ恵まれているかわかっているだろうか？
I myself is a part-time college student, for how long? 15 years!
私自身、大学の公開講座を受け始めて、何年かな？もう、１５年。
When I have problem at home or relatives, or community, it is quite hard to concentrate on studying.
家庭や親戚、地域に気がかりなことがあると、なかなか、勉強に集中できない。
But I was lucky too to be able to keep on studying at university even if it's only a day or two a week.
でも、週に一、二日でも、学び続けることが出来て幸せ。
It was neary a year when I was able to start trying "Testing Translation" on Daily Yomiuri again. I feel so happy to be back here.
デイリーヨミウリの翻訳コーナーに再チャレンジ出来るようになったのも、一年ぶりかな。また、そんな気持ちになれたことが、本当に嬉しい。
