久しぶりに、お泊りを入れて、合志市三つの木の家で、パーティ壮行会を実施した。
We had this year's send-off party and stayed overnight at Mitsunoki-no ie in Koshi City.
何故か、発表のときの写真がない。ごめんね～、みんな。

第一部終了後、暗くなるのを待つ間（夜のプログラムは花火と肝試し）、モンタナから来ているケンのギターミニミニコンサート。実はロックバンドでベースギター担当らしい。クラッシック調のギターも上手でした。
After the first part of the party, we had time for Ken who were from Montana played the guitar of his host mother. He said he played the base guitar in a rock band. He was quite a good guitar player, even with classical tunes.
花火と肝試しの後、今年、ヴァーモントに行く恵太の”英語で喋らナイト”スタート。日本語がわからないフィンランドとシンガポールの留学生を中心に、英語でバンバン質問してもらった。
After fireworks and Kimodameshi, Keita who is going to Vermont this summer brought his album to introduce himself to foreign students. I asked those who do not understand Japanese to ask him questions in English.
朝、６時半からラジオ体操。なんと、今日は"ラジオ体操８０周年記念"の特別番組とか！
In the morning we did radio exercise and found out it is 80th anniversary today!
留学生の一部は、なんと！室内から結構自由に体操していました。
Some of the students didn't come out of the facility and did exercise indoors, and it's rather unique exercise of their own.
モンゴルの留学生が不参加だったので、８カ国になりましたが、『せかいのひとびと』の絵本を見せて、世界には色んな文字があることを知った上で、しおり作りスタート。
Since Mongolian student did not come, there are people from 8 countries including Japan. I showed them my favorite picture book "PEOPLE" by Peter Spier at pages 30 to 31 and showed them there were so many different letters in the world. Now is the time for making book marks.
ローマ字で自分の名前を書いて、その下に、タミル語、シンハラ語、ヒンディー語、ヴェトナム語、アラビア語などで、書いてもらう。う～ん、読めないけれど、おもしろい。
They each wrote their names on a piece of paper and asked foreign students to write it in their letters, such as Tamil, Singhalese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Arabic and so on. I don't know how to read them, but I think they are interesting.

Last but not least!? Small labo kids have been waiting patiently for this moment to come!
最初は、どうしようか迷っている様子だった留学生達（も私）も、気づけばエキサイトして, ずぶぬれ！
Some students seemed to be reluctant at first, but gradually we got excited and in the end, all of us were soaking wet!
水風船を１０００個（計画では２０００個！）も準備してくれた、ラボっ子中高生の皆さん、留学生の皆さん、どうも、ありがとう！！楽しかったよ～。
Thank you very much for preparing 1000 water balloons(in planning, 2000!), senior labo kids and foreign students!!
We had a ball.
今年ホームステイ参加の恵太は、留学生達に、「がんばって～」と、声援を送られていました。すっかり仲良くなりました。この調子で、一ヶ月、頑張っておいでね！
Foreign students sended Keita off saying "Have fun!" They got along very well over the night. I hope he try his best making his host family his "real family" and make lots of freinds and memories.
