プレイルームでできる所作遊びをご紹介します
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man,
＊Clap hands together and then clap palms with your child’s palms.
Bake me a cake as fast as you can.
Pat it and prick it and mark it with ‘B’,
And put in the oven for baby and me.
＊Before reciting this rhyme,
tell adults they can substitute their baby’s first initial and name
in place of the “B” and “baby”.

Pat- A- Cake Biscuitsはいかがですか？
Need: 2 packages commercial biscuit mix,
1 cup water, egg white, food coloring
Supplies: Toaster or regular oven, small paintbrush, bowl,
mixing spoon, paper plates, small toy rolling pins, measuring cup
Directions: Have the children mix the biscuit dough and roll out a small portion on their plates.
We then helped the child paint their first initial on the top of the biscuit with egg white colored with food coloring.
Cook biscuits on an un-greased cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes in oven at 350 degrees until light brown.
This recipe makes about twenty biscuits depending on size.
We did this activity on the day we highlighted the rhyme, Pat-A-Cake, Pat-A-Cake, Baker's Man.
Caution: Be sure to refrigerate egg white until use.

私が2,3才児対象の親子のつどい“マザーグースであそぼ”で楽しんだ工作を紹介しますね。
エリックカールさんのコラージュの本を見て思いつきました。
名づけて“コラージュde ケーキ！”
準備：ティッシュペーパーを絵の具を溶かした液につけて色づけ、乾かしておく。（5色程度）,
ケーキの下絵を画用紙にコピー。（ラボキディーブックのHappy Birthdayのケーキの絵をコピーして使いました）
当日はそれを各自手でちぎって 画用紙の下絵の上に歌のようにぺたぺた貼っていきます。
下絵の画用紙には先にのりを塗っておきます。短時間でできて大変かわいい作品ができました。
工作している間は歌を聴きながら。
もちろんできあがりのケーキの中央にはそれぞれのイニシャルを貼ります。
（色紙でもできます。）

【遊び方】手たたき遊び歌。
１ 二人で向かい会います。
２ Peas で自分の手をたたき、porridge で相手の手をたたき、hotでもう一度自分の手をたたきます。「せっせせ～のよいよいよい】で始まる日本の手たたきと同じです。
３ だんだんにスピードを早くしていって、何度も繰り返して歌いましょう

Peas PorridgeはPeas puddingともいいますが、乾燥させた豆から作る料理です。それは何度も暖めなおしをする必要があります。豆がゆは伝統的に、暖かいものをいただきます。ゆでたベーコンやsaveloyと呼ばれるソーセージを入れます。
イギリスは豆料理本当においしいです。

Punch and Judy
パンチとジュディの日本公演がありましたので 行ってきました。
イギリスのコヴェントガーデンに毎年かかります。
エリザベス女王は ご自分の誕生日などに この劇をごらんになります。
公演中は撮影禁止だったので パンチとジュディーが写ってなくて申し訳ないです！２枚目の写真は舞台裏の様子です。ぶら下げてあるのが全部お人形です。ピノキオのお話にでてくる Pulcinella がPunchですよね！人形劇の場面です。
お気に入りのリストにもサイトをあげておきました。

≪パンチアンドジュディーのパブはコヴェントガーデン≫
人形劇でおなじみ パンチアンドジュディーのパブはコヴェントガーデンにあります。

Punch and Judy、Fought for a pie;
Punch gave Judy、A knock in the eye.
Says Punch to Judy、Will you have any more ?
Says Judy to Punch,My eye is sore.
パンチとジュディは、パイをとりっこ
パンチはジュディの目に一発
パンチはジュディに、「もっとかい？」
ジュディはパンチに、「目が痛い」
「パンチとジュディ」は古い歴史を持つ操り人形で、
真っ赤なわし鼻とホッペのパンチが些細なことから
妻のジュディを棍棒で殴るといったドタバタ喜劇。
イタリア発祥ともいわれ、英国では1662年のロンドンのコベント・ガーデンでのショーが
最初の記録として残っているそうです。
昨年2007秋には、愛知と大阪で開催されました。
ひとりで登場人物全部を動かして 独特な声を出すこの人形劇は
大声で笑わずにはいられないほどの迫力？
パンチアンドジュディーパブのギネスはもちろんのこと、
オリーブのピクルスの味が忘れられません！
Gammon steak も 大変しょっぱくて美味しかったです。
